Description
A deeply nourishing rich botanical balm that happens to be named a ‘Vitamin C Cream’ — but read the list and it’s really a dense stack of ten-plus plant oils and butters, with the stable vitamin C (SAP) buried mid-list doing little brightening. For very dry skin in harsh weather, it’s a comforting, affordable, plant-forward balm. For most other skin it’s a poor fit: multiple comedogenic oils (coconut, cocoa butter) make it breakout-prone, it’s fragranced with lavender and geranium, and the beeswax means it isn’t vegan. Buy it for rich moisture on dry skin, not for vitamin C.
