A surprisingly well-built gel moisturizer that hides barrier lipids and a gentle smoothing acid inside a fresh, fast-absorbing aqua-gel — more sophisticated than its light texture lets on. For combination and normal skin that finds creams heavy, it is genuinely good. The drawbacks are an added alcohol, a cooling agent, fragrance and colorants, plus a luxury price for a 50ml gel.
