The oil-control entry in the drying-lotion lineup, trading calamine pink and tea tree for sebum-soaking volcanic ash. It dries out surfaced whiteheads overnight much like its siblings, with extra oil absorption for very shiny skin, and skips the camphor and fragrance. The catches remain: it costs more than the original, the denatured-alcohol base is drying, and the ‘detox’ marketing oversells what ash actually does.
